Product Owner with a technical background and 13+ years in software development. As a freelancer I build websites, web apps and mobile apps – from first idea to release.
Websites, web apps, mobile apps and AI strategy – from idea to release.Websites,webapps,mobileappsandAIstrategy–fromideatorelease.
Alongside my full-time role, I take on selected freelance projects – from first concept to production release. I combine product ownership with hands-on delivery and use modern AI tooling as part of my workflow to turn ideas into solid results more quickly.
I deliberately take on only one freelance project at a time – with fixed working windows and a reply usually within 1–2 working days.
Clear, fast websites that showcase your positioning, offer and sales flow – technically clean, SEO-friendly and built in your design language.
Concept, copy sparring and UI implementation
Modern stacks (React, TanStack, Tailwind)
SEO fundamentals, analytics and contact flow
Web apps
Internal tools, customer portals or MVPs for new product ideas – from requirements and data model through API to a usable frontend.
Discovery, user stories and prototyping
Frontend (React/TypeScript) and backend integration
AI-assisted workflows for shorter cycles – responsibility stays with me
Mobile apps
Mobile apps people actually want to open every day – from first idea to store release, backed by more than ten years of app development experience.
Native iOS with Swift and SwiftUI
React Native for cross-platform MVPs
Store release, reviews and ongoing evolution
AI strategy & adoption
Practical guidance on integrating AI into product work and development – from assessing value to introducing team workflows. Entry point: a one-day strategy workshop for a flat €1,900.
Selecting and rolling out AI tools that fit the workflow
Assessing where AI genuinely helps the team and process
Coaching and sparring for product owners and teams
A personal project I built on my own from the first idea to launch: 128 mountains in real 3D terrain from official elevation models, with documented routes that are drawn onto the mountain as you watch.
137 terrain tiles baked from ten survey sources – from global 30-metre models down to 0.5-metre laser scans
Routes with camps, key sections and elevation profile; every line names its source and says what is computed rather than measured
No tracking, no cookies, no third-party resources – fonts, images and terrain are served from the site itself
React, React Three Fiber (WebGL), TypeScript, pre-rendered pages, custom build pipeline for terrain and route data
Early product ideas often rest on assumptions that haven't been validated yet.
My contribution
I use research, AI and quick prototypes to sharpen questions, make first solution paths visible and feed insights into further planning early on.
02
Slicing and prioritising work sensibly
Starting point
Oversized or unclear initiatives make estimates unreliable and delay the delivery of usable value.
My contribution
I break requirements down into transparent work packages, clarify dependencies and prioritise together with the team by business value, risk and feasibility.
03
Gathering feedback early and adjusting course
Starting point
The later a wrong assumption becomes visible, the higher the cost of correcting it.
My contribution
I set up early feedback loops with users and stakeholders, review interim results and adjust priorities when needed. That way we spot missteps early and invest deliberately in solutions that hold up.
Understand→Slice→Learn
About
From code to product.Fromcodetoproduct.
I started as a developer – first with Objective-C and Swift on iOS, later on the web. Over the years the question "Are we building the right thing?" has interested me more than the pure "How do we build it?".
Today I work as a full-time Product Owner. I like teams that take responsibility, short feedback loops and products that explain themselves within a few clicks.
Users first
Good products emerge where real problems become visible. I start with people and jobs to be done, not with features.
Engineering empathy
More than 13 years around software development help me estimate effort realistically and work with teams on equal footing.
Clarity over buzzwords
Plain language, clear priorities and roadmaps that still hold up three months in.
Focus
Focus between product, technology and delivery.Focusbetweenproduct,technologyanddelivery.
I connect business needs, technical feasibility and fast feedback loops into clear next steps.
Responsible for roadmap, prioritisation, requirements and the collaboration with customers, stakeholders and frontend and backend teams for a SaaS solution in education and event management. Accompanying the design process and UI/UX alignment are part of the role. The product is established in the market and in continuous productive use by customers.
Product responsibility for a management platform in the real estate space – discovery, roadmap and delivery. The platform was already in productive use; my role was its continued development and ongoing product management.
How sprint planning, refinement, retros, Definition of Done and WIP limits change once AI-assisted development becomes normal – and where new bottlenecks appear.
Once payment is complete, the source code and all usage rights transfer to you. That's set out in the proposal before we start – no surprises afterwards.
Do you also handle maintenance after launch?+
Yes, on request. Many projects move into a maintenance or ongoing-development arrangement after release – scope and cadence are set together, based on what you need.
What project sizes are realistic?+
From a focused landing page to product builds spanning several months – projects typically start at around €2,500. The projects and roles on this page are a good reference point; the free intro call is where we size it for your case.
When can you start?+
I deliberately take on only one freelance project at a time – that is what keeps quality and response times stable. Whether a slot is open right now, and from when, I will tell you straight in the first call; I reply to enquiries within 1–2 working days as a rule.
Do you work as a hands-on builder or as a Product Owner?+
Either, depending on what's needed: I can build hands-on myself, or take on requirements, prioritisation and coordination with your team as Product Owner – or a mix of both.
